This is the whole method. It is not a policy we promise to follow — it runs on every request.

A one-way fingerprint is calculated
The day's secret key, the user agent, the IP address and the domain are hashed together into a single number.

The originals are discarded
Only that number is stored. The IP address and user agent are never written anywhere — not to the database, not to a log file.

The key is destroyed after 48 hours
The secret key rotates daily and is deleted after two days. Once it is gone, the stored number cannot be linked back to anyone.
Because nothing is stored on the visitor's device, there is no consent to ask for — and after 48 hours there is no personal data left to protect.
